There's a line spoken by one of the characters in the previews of Amy Poehler's new show on NBC, "Parks & Recreation", that is something along the line of "the public is stupid". If the above quote is true, then so is the quote from the TV show. Fortunately, I think the American people are a lot smarter than the conservatives think. God, I hope they are.
