The surveys, the polling data shows that Christians churches that are preaching the truth are the ones that are gaining members. It's the mainline liberal denominations that are losing membership.If the "truth" of your church includes hating gay people, then I have no use for you or your church. Bigotry is bigotry. End of story.
If Republicans won't take a stand now, when will they?I would have thought Mr. Perkins was more politically savvy than this. Sir, the Republicans don't want to lose abortion as an issue. As Barbara Morrill put it at the link, "If Republicans didn't take any meaningful action against abortion when they controlled the White House, the Senate, and the House, what makes you think they'd take a stand now? At what point will the Christian conservatives figure out that they're being used by the Republican Party?"
I believe it is unethical to use human life, even young embryonic life, to advance science. While such research is unfortunately legal, taxpayers should not have to foot the bill for experiments that require the destruction of human life.Religious idiots are funny.
